Category of Vitamins..




If you read in any Book Of Vitamins; Vitamins fall into two basic categories..

  • Those dissolve in water
  • Those dissolve in fat


Example of Water Soluble Vitamins:-

  • B1 Thiamin
  • B2 Riboflavin
  • C ascorbic acid
  • Biotin
  • Folic Acid
These vitamins can be easily absorbed directly through our stomach tract into the bloodstream & dont require boile acids or other special substance to assist in the process.. Once absorb, they circulate in body fluids & are available whwn needed for body function..



Fat-Soluable Vitamins..

The major fat-soluable vitamins are A,D.E & K..

These vitamins requires the additional bile acids, your body's natural emulsifying agents, to be dissolved in intestinal contents & then absorbed into the blood stream..
